They Key to A Smooth Handover
Use these tips and tricks to ensure you have a smooth and successful handover.

Use a trusted snagging company
I cannot express this enough, the right snagging company is ESSENTIAL in ensuring your property is handed over in the condition that it should be and to the standard you expect. A company that knows what they are doing will save you a lot of time, money, and stress.

Make note of changes in the handover date
Its important to know exactly when handover is happening, developers do not always give regular updates. By staying up to date with the latest news you will be well prepared for a smooth handover and can also make selling/renting arrangements if applicable. This is also applicable if your moving in, so you can re-arrange potential commitments.

DO NOT sign any final paperwork until the developer has agreed to address all the snagging issues that were raised.
Then any final handover payments will need to be settled, and any service charges will need to be cleared.
DEWA will also need to be contacted and connected before any moving process can be initiated.

Move in Permit
If you intend to move into the property, you will need to obtain a move-in permit from the community management. This will allow access to the moving-in companies and associated partners to the community. If you have issues obtaining this, reach out, and I will use my internal connections to ensure any issues are resolved.

Selling or Renting
Using an agent that focuses on the area is paramount to a smooth sale or rental process. They will know the area inside out and have a large share of enquiries for the area which results in a quicker sale or rental.
It is hard to find ethical agents that are experienced in what they do and are genuinely transparent, so if you have one, hold onto them.
If you do not, that's Zak on the left (me), and Chat GPT may have reduced the wasteline just slightly. I'm a Dubai South Expert focused heavily on Pulse Beachfront and South Bay. I work for Savills, a brokerage dating back to 1855.
